Apparently, there’s a bilateral agreement between Serbia and UAE that was established in 2019. UAE citizens can stay in Serbia for up to 90 days within a 180-day period beginning from their date of first entry without a visa. However, if you stay beyond this period, you may be subject to a fine if you don’t present a visa confirming your visit to the country for the particular span.

Anyone with a valid Schengen visa can visit Serbia for up to 90 days within a 180-day period, as long as the visa is still valid. It’s important to note that if someone from the UAE plans to stay in Serbia for more than 90 days, they will need to apply for a Serbian visa. Documents To Apply For Serbian Visa For UAE Residents

  1. A valid passport with at least 90 days from the issue date of the visa
  2. A recent passport-sized photo size 3.5×4.5cm, grey background, high quality & should match your true appearance.
  3. Proof of legal residence in the UAE, such as your residence permit or Emirates ID card.
  4. Proof of sufficient funds for your stay in Serbia, such as bank statements, salary slips, or sponsorship letters.
  5. Travel insurance that covers medical expenditures.
  6. A confirmed round-trip flight reservation or ticket.
  7. A confirmed hotel reservation or an invitation letter from your host in Serbia.

What are the different types of Serbia visas available to UAE citizens?

Serbia provides many types of visas to UAE residents depending on the purpose of their visit. The most popular are as follows:

Type C – Short Stay Visa: This visa is provided to people who want to visit Serbia for tourism, business, family or friend visits, cultural or sporting events, medical treatment, or transit. Within a 180-day period, the maximum stay is 90 days.

Type D – Long Stay Visa: This visa is provided to people who intend to stay in Serbia for more than 90 days for purposes such as work, education, research, family reunification, or humanitarian reasons. The maximum stay period is one year.

  1. Fill out the online application form on the official website
  2. Print and sign the application form.
  3. In-person, submit your application form and supporting documents to the Consular Section of the Embassy of the Republic of Serbia in Abu Dhabi.
  4. Schedule an appointment at least two days in advance by emailing consular.abudhabi@mfa.rs4.
  5. Additionally, pay the visa cost in cash at the time of application.
  6. Allow for the processing of your visa. Depending on the type of visa and your nationality, processing time can range from a few days to a few weeks.
  7. Collect your passport and visa at the Consular Section of the Republic of Serbia’s Embassy in Abu Dhabi.
  8. You must bring your receipt as well as your original passport.
  9. You can also delegate the collection of your passport and visa to someone else by giving them a signed authorization letter and a copy of your ID.
