Here’s a brand that has Instagram to thank to for its popularity quotient! SEVENFRIDAY the affordable luxury brand from Switzerland is now available in nine countries and plans to reach 30, by the third quarter of 2016. The luxury brand has now introduced its Q Series.
This Zurich-based brand is inspired by the industrial revolution, and elements such as tools, engines, machines, wheels, and art. with his experience in luxury watches for 15 years, Daniel decided to launch his own line in 2012. What came about was a rich, sporty & an elegant watch which uses a square case described as ‘squircles’.
Featuring a gunmetal central plate with stamped grain finishing, the Q series SevenFriday Watches ate reminiscent of a vintage television screen.
It has got a vertically brushed rhodium central ring with black printing & polished copper colour. It also has black printed ring applied date window frame and minute tracks.
The model also features a Decentralised 24H RING with a sextant, shaped pointer printed in red displaying 24 hours. The crate inspired packaging contains a warranty card, microfiber cleaner and a manual.
The Squircle dial has a seconds disc sandblasted rhodium with three hollowed-out arrows using ‘additioner’ system. It has a brown suede calfskin leather strap with tone to tone stitching. Promoting the watch through a tactical social media campaign, it has reached to 88 countries in no time.

In India, the brand has appointed Mumbai-based agency Magnanimous. It’s a luxury consulting firm, to focus strongly on digital innovations, special engagements, and disruptive social media strategies, along with amplifying marketing efforts and increasing visibility. Jay Kumar – JAJ Watches and Akash Sheth and Jay Makhijani of Magnanimous Group are the men behind this luxury brand in India. The SevenFriday Q Series watch comes in the price band of Rs. 75,000 to Rs 1.5 lakh.
