The  Economic Development Department of Sharjah announced that most recreational establishments will resume business gradually. As of 3 May 2020, salons, restaurants, and malls in the area were open to the public. All centers will be open from 12 pm to 9 pm with the exception of pharmacies and food stores, which will be open round the clock. In addition, several safety measures are put in place as a precautionary measure. These measures are not limited to the working staff, but also apply to residents visiting the respective centers. What Else?

While restrictions are easing up around the emirate, some rules still remain. All parks in Sharjah will remain closed until further notice. The municipality has mentioned that all parks will still undergo a thorough sterilization process, after which they will then be opened to the public. This precautionary measure comes in line with all the other safety measures the government of Sharjah is taking, in order to further curb the spread of Covid 19. Families can still visit malls, dine in at restaurants, and enjoy other commercial establishments. With the way things are going, we’re sure parks will be open in no time.
