Al Dhaid Honey Festival Returns To Sharjah

Al Dhaid Honey Festival has returned, and it will continue until Sunday! And if you are someone who likes to stock up on this golden nectar, this is your chance to meet the beekeepers and even go on a tasting spree while loading your carts with some beautiful jars of the liquid gold. The event is happening at Expo Al Dhaid, and it is being organised by the Sharjah Chamber of Commerce and Industry. This festival is expected to become the place for honey-lovers where they can connect directly with the people who produce it.

More Than 70 Exhibitors At The Expo

So with the festival growing significantly, this year, more than 70 exhibitors are setting up their shops. You will find everyone from top honey traders and specialised companies to even family-run businesses. Not just shopping, the festival is creating a community vibe, wherein producers will also get to share expertise, swap tips, and get to display their Emirati honey.

A Variety Of Emirati Honey!

The programme kicked off with the official opening on Thursday at 4:30 PM, as mentioned by the Gulf News. After this, it was followed by the announcement of winners in the ‘Best Sidr Honey’ competition. The variety of honey on offer is truly impressive, as you will get to try multitude of options. From Flower Honey to Mangrove and Samar Honey, these options even have a creative twist. For instance, the Mangrove Honey is blended with cocoa for a chocolate honey spread, while a peanut butter honey is perfect for those who like a bit of nutty flavour to their toast.

Not only honey, if you’ve never tried honeycomb, now is the chance! The good folks here are also selling them for AED100, which one can try by breaking off a piece of the comb.

If all of these details sound perfect to you, and you cannot wait to try these blissful options, don’t forget to drop by, and we are sure you will not be disappointed.
