Come July, Air Arabia To Daily Non-Stop Flights To Rome, Expanding Its Network

Air Arabia, which is a Sharjah-based airline, recently announced that it will be starting daily non-stop service to Rome. Yes, this service will begin in July. And it seems that the route will be operated by Airbus A320neo. Air Arabia Announces New Flights To Rome

As revealed by the airline on February 26th, Thursday, Air Arabia will soon start its daily non-stop flights to Rome. Yes, it will connect Sharjah International Airport in the UAE with Rome Fiumicino Airport. The new route begins on July 1st, 2026. This truly is a major turning point in the airline’s European road strategy. In a report by Travel & Tour World, with the introduction of the new non-stop route, the gap between the Mediterranean and cultural hubs will be bridged.

More About The New Flight

Soon, the historic city of Rome will also be added to the ever-growing map of destinations that serve Sharjah. This will be the second Italian gateway for the airline after its Milan-Bergamo route. Ensuring that the passengers are provided with a world-class facility, the Airbus A320Neo will be used for the route. With a highly flexible flight schedule, the diverse needs of modern travellers will be accommodated so that there are both morning and afternoon options available.

For instance, flight number G9 0668 will depart from Sharjah at 7:55 AM on Mondays, Wednesdays & Fridays, and arrive at 12:35 PM local time. While the flight G9 0669 will depart from Rome at 1:35 PM and arrive at 9 PM on the aforementioned days. Another flight G9 0662, will fly to Rome at 4:20 PM and arrive at 9 PM on Tuesdays, Thursdays, Saturdays & Sundays. While the return flights G9 0663 for the same days will depart at 10 PM and arrive at 6 AM the next day.
