There are many events happening in the UAE every once in a while. And recently, the museum saw the Introducing Zayed National Museum: The Foundations of Unity exhibition. This exhibition was inaugurated by Her Highness Sheikha Latifa bint Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum. In case you didn’t know, she is the Chairperson of Dubai Culture and Arts Authority (Dubai Culture) and Member of the Dubai Council.

The ongoing exhibition will stay in place till December 5, 2024. Organised by the Department of Culture and Tourism – Abu Dhabi and Zayed National Museum, this exhibition is also in collaboration with the Dubai Culture. Paying tribute to the late Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan for his monumental role in uniting the emirates, it delves into the extensive collection of the Zayed National Museum. Of course, it also showcases the UAE’s cultural heritage and exhibition, mirrors his enduring legacy and values.

The exhibition was inaugurated by Her Highness Sheikha Latifa during which she highlighted the national significance of the exhibition. She also mentioned that this exhibition strengthens the fabric of the emirate culture, thereby serving as a bridge between the vibrant past and evolving present.

What Does The Exhibition Include?

In case you weren’t aware, this exhibition is a part of the series organised by Zayed National Museum. It will tour the UAE and will feature a model of the Zayed National Museum, which is located in the heart of the cultural district on Saadiyat Island, in Abu Dhabi. Besides the model, a variety of other engaging activities and workshops have also been planned out. These have been inspired by the late Shaikh Zayed’s life, thereby highlighting his passion for nature and falconry. Moreover, the exhibition will host a series of panel discussions and dialogues that focus on the private role of the union and founding and development of the UAE.
