It has been a popular haunt for B-town celebrities and many have been witnessed here relishing good food and a great time. Initially opened in Bandra and then in Worli, the restaurant recently went into redevelopment but now it is back with a bang! Read on to learn more about it!

The OG Bastian, in which Shilpa Shetty and her husband Raj Kundra own a stake, recently reopened in Bandra. Located in the upscale Linking Road area, the restaurant boasts an elevated rustic boho interior which looks as classy as it is comfortable.
Featuring luscious menu items consisting of old favourites like Lobster Roll, The Mac, Bastian Ceviche, Animal Prawns, Spicy Crab Thermidor, Bacon Kimchi Fried Rice and Crispy Chicken. If you’re a vegetarian, worry not! You can relish their Edamame Hummus, Tofu Bao, Korean Fried Paneer, and Malaysian Noodles.
Looking for something light? Try their signature Kale Caesar Salad, and Watermelon Feta Salad. You can even enjoy bowls like Vegan Green Curry Bowl, Chicken Bulgogi Bowl, and Pork Mazeman Bowl. The menu also has a Market section which allows guests to personalise their meals by letting them choose the main ingredient of their dish! Choose from deshelled crab, lobster, salmon, chicken or prawn.
Such sumptuous feasting calls for equally palatial dessert. You can relish their Baked Alaska and Molten Chocolate Cake or opt for their new offerings which include Saffron Tres Leches and Giant Fortune Cookie. Their cheesecakes like Lotus Kunafa and Smores are also worth trying.

Why Did It Close Temporarily?

Bastian Bandra temporarily closed because it went into redevelopment. After its rustic revamp, it is back with a huge bang! In addition to scrumptious seafood, the restaurant also serves intricately crafted cocktails that will not only lift your spirits but will pair excellently with your food. And if you’re lucky, you might just run into your favourite celebrity!
In August, its Worli outlet, too, closed and as per its Instagram account, is now relocating. Rest assured, it will be back in a new avatar but with the same vibrant flavours that its patrons so lovingly dote upon.
The place is sure to set a brand-new standard for your dining experience. It may be a bit on the pricier side but of course, good things in life often are. So, if you’re looking to indulge in a new haunt which offers some finer things, be sure to check out Bastian. It reopened on September 16 and patrons are flocking to the restaurant.
