In addition, and most importantly, within the initial two days of hosting, the book fair is seeing a great footfall. Over 70 book stalls have been installed at the book fair of nearly 45+ publishers. National Book Trust, India collaborated with Himachal Pradesh State Department of Language, Art, and Culture to create this unique experience for readers who can access the space for free and avail great discounts on the books. The state has also taken up the initiative to build libraries in the city to encourage young readers.
