Family In Goa Attacked With Knives And Swords
In Goa’s Anjuna, a family who was staying at the ‘Spazio Leisure’ resort was attacked with knives and swords. Jatin Sharma, one of the family members, posted about the incident on his Instagram account. He shared a horrifying video that showed four people attacking him and his family.
In the next video, one of the family members, with Jatin by her side, narrates the actual incident. She said that after a small spat with the resort staff at the Spazio Leisure resort, they complained about him to the manager, who immediately fired him. Later, the staff came outside the resort with his accomplices and attacked the family brutally.
Shocking And Intolerable Incident
A 47-year-old member of the family, Ashwini Kumar Chandrani, was assaulted at around 5pm by the gang with blows, kicks, belts, knives, and a baseball bat. The family has filed a complaint against them.
The police have detained Anjuna residents Roshan, Nyron Reginaldo Dias, Joseph Alex Lobo, and Kashinath Vishvor Agarqadekae after using CCTV evidence to identify the accused of the assault. They are searching for the others involved in the assault.
Goa’s Chief Minister, Pramod Sawant, called this incident extremely shocking and intolerable. He has directed the police to take the harshest action against them. He assured me that such anti-social elements would be dealt with with strict actions.
