Shopping malls and private sector businesses in Dubai will return to 100% capacity from 3 June. The decision was made under the directives of HH Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Ruler of Dubai.

Currently, malls in Dubai operate at 30%. Besides, both public and private sector operate at 50% capacity. In addition, government employees will return to offices with a 50% capacity.

What Else?
In a virtual meeting on Monday May 25, HH Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Crown Prince of Dubai, called for the gradual reopening of businesses between 6am and 11pm each day. Gyms, cinemas and other attractions have already resumed business. However, the government has laid out a list of rules that must be followed.
List Of Places Opening In Dubai
-Dubai Airport is now open for people who want to return to the UAE and for transit passengers.
-Gyms reopen with 50% capacity
– Cinemas reopen with 30% capacity
-Dubai attractions like Dolphinarium, Ski Dubai, ice rink and the Green Planet reopen with with social distancing and constant sterilisation.
– Dubai salons reopen with 50% capacity
-Malls in the city will remain open from 10 am – 10 pm everyday
-Dubai retail stores and wholesale outlets reopen.
-ENT Clinics, children’s health centres be open, and will permit surgeries that go up to two-and-a-half hours.
-Entertainment centers and recreational venues like the Dubai Ice Rink and Dolphinarium are open.
-All government centres like Amer and Tasheel are open.
-Dubai Economy announced that offices and commercial activities can resume business with 50% capacity. Previously, 30% was the permitted workforce. However, the percentage has increased now. Besides, elevators must have clear markings on the floor indicating social distancing.

Guidelines To Be Followed
All businesses should abide with new sterilisation timings.
Everyone should be wearing a mask at all times.
Everyone should always maintain a two meter social distance.
All passengers arriving in the country should adhere to 14 days quarantine.
Children under 12 and elderly above 60 and people with chronic diseases are not allowed to enter shopping centers, cinemas, gyms and educational institutes.
