The lockdown has been a very crucial time for every people in the country. For a prolonged period of about one and a half months, people were not allowed to step out of their houses and live only on the ‘essentials’. What’s Happening?

Shops in Punjab, except those in the containment zones, can now remain open from 7 AM to 6 PM, as per the new government rules. Various shops have already opened up in Amritsar, and the shopkeepers are taking measures to sanitise every customer. Earlier, the government had allowed the opening of these shops from 7 AM to 3 PM. The shopkeepers have drawn circles outside their stores with chalks to ensure that the buyers maintain safe distances from each other. Also, it is mandatory for all the customers and sellers to wear face masks.
