Singapore Airlines has announced a massive S$45 million renovation of its lounges at Changi Airport Terminal 2, aimed at offering a world-class ground experience for premium travellers. Starting 15 April 2025, the Singapore Airlines lounge upgrade will be rolled out in phases, with completion expected by mid-2027. The refreshed lounges will offer 50% more space, improved facilities, and an enhanced food and beverage selection for First Class, Business Class, and KrisFlyer Gold passengers.
Singapore Airlines Lounge Upgrade Prioritises Comfort
This renovation is designed to match the high expectations of modern travellers. Singapore Airlines is bringing its flagship Terminal 3 lounge experience to Terminal 2, with a focus on comfort, style, and service. According to Mr Yeoh Phee Teik, Senior Vice President Customer Experience at Singapore Airlines, the upgrade reaffirms the airline’s dedication to seamless luxury from the ground to the skies. Passengers can expect a harmonious blend of design, technology, and hospitality tailored for ultimate relaxation.

First And Business Class Lounges Get A Sophisticated Revamp
The First Class SilverKris Lounge will feature high ceilings, natural lighting, and a spacious layout. A premium bar will serve barista-made coffee in the morning and signature cocktails in the evening. Guests can also enjoy live cooking stations with a mix of Singaporean, Asian, and Western cuisine. The lounge will offer a sense of calm and exclusivity, designed to give First Class travellers an unmatched pre-flight experience.

The Business Class SilverKris Lounge will grow by 30%, offering a quiet rest zone with recliners and new seating options like sofa lounges and productivity pods. A redesigned buffet with global dishes and a full-service bar will elevate the dining experience for business travellers. The space will also include dedicated zones for work and relaxation, perfect for those flying long-haul.
KrisFlyer Gold Lounge Doubles In Size And Amenities
The KrisFlyer Gold Lounge will double in capacity and include armchairs, workstations, and dining areas. In-lounge restrooms and shower suites will allow passengers to relax and refresh before their flights. The upgrade will also provide more charging ports and connectivity features to cater to tech-savvy travellers.
To minimise disruption, construction will be phased. The First Class lounge is expected to finish by late 2025, followed by the Business Class and KrisFlyer Gold lounges through 2026.
