According to an article which was recently published by the Hindustan Times or HT, the apartment is a sprawling 4,200 sq. ft. It used to be a 4BHK but after Sonakshi’s purchase, it was converted into a spacious 2BHK.
The news of her selling her apartment first broke out when a video of it was shared on an account that sells properties. The video listed the specifications of the apartment and also mentioned that the asking price is ₹25 crore.
The news raised a lot of eyebrows as the actor recently tied the knot with Zaheer Iqbal in the very same apartment. As a matter of fact, it hasn’t been that long since she purchased it. The video mentions that the apartment is fully furnished and Sonakshi Sinha has even liked the video.

The apartment has a carpet area of 4210.87 sq. ft. In September 2023 when purchased the apartment, the agreement for it was signed by her mother Poonam Sinha. At the time, it cost ₹11 crore. The home offers a stunning sea-facing view overlooking Mahim Bay and the Bandra-Worli Sea Link.
The apartment is in building 81 Aureate, Bandra Reclamation. Reportedly, the famous television actor Karan Kundrra also lives in the same building with his girlfriend, Tejasswi Prakash. Sonakshi’s decision to sell the apartment has left many people scratching their heads.
