Experts in South Indian cuisine have declared their intention to take over the building. Here is all about the new South Indian restaurant which will open at the spot of top-rated restaurant in Cotswolds.

Dosa Park is bringing its popular eateries to Sheep Street in Cirencester, with an opening date of January 2024, after two successful locations in Oxford. The flavours of traditional South Indian fare, such as dosas, idlis, vadas, biryanis, and an assortment of fragrant curries, will thereafter be available for guests to sample.

The dosa, which is their signature food, is a well-liked South Indian dish with a range of fillings and accompaniments, including potato filling, coconut chutney, and various flavorful curries. Their other eateries are renowned for serving a broad range of plant-based and vegan dishes that are bursting with regional tastes.

According to the Dosa Park co-owner, this brings authenticity to this type of cooking and is a very distinct notion from the Asian cuisine that is now offered in Cirencester. Moreover, it offers options for breakfast, lunch and dinner. This region of the world is known for its dosa. A range of fillings and accompaniments, including potato filling, coconut chutney, sambar, and other flavorful curries, can be served with it. They are excited to serve everyone their meals.

1. Chicken Biryani

The mixed rice dish known as biryani was once believed to have come from Iran and then settled in present-day India. Rice, spices, and some sort of meat are the ingredients. 2. Masala Dosa

Masala Dosa is prepared with rice, lentils, fenugreek, urad dal, chana dal, puffed rice, toor dal, and dry red chilli. It is served with sambar, chutneys, and potato curry.

3. Chana Masala

The Indian subcontinent is the source of the chickpea curry known as chana masala, sometimes referred to as chole masala or chole. In North Indian cuisine, it is a mainstay meal. Typically, chana masala contains chopped tomatoes, onion, ghee, cumin, turmeric, coriander powder, garlic, ginger, chillies, amchoor (lemon juice), and garam masala in addition to chickpeas.

4. Gulab Jamun

Gulab jamun, famous in Bangladesh, Bangladesh, Pakistan, India, and Myanmar, is a sweet confectionery or dessert. The primary ingredient is milk solids, primarily manufactured from khoya, or milk that has been reduced to the consistency of soft dough. Instead of khoya, modern recipes use powdered or dried milk. To improve the flavour, dried nuts like cashews and almonds are frequently added as a garnish.

5. Curd Rice

Curd rice, sometimes referred to as yoghurt rice, is an Indian delicacy. In Indian English, “curd” is the term for probiotic yoghurt that hasn’t been sweetened. It is popular in Tamil Nadu, Kerala, Karnataka, Telangana, and Andhra Pradesh. Served untempered at the end of practically every Indian meal during the summer, the dish is a mainstay of traditional cuisine.
