The Sunday Times has been creating this list for the past 11 years and it is the first time that a town with a population under 5000 has made it to the top. The judges always make the decision after carefully analysing the various aspect like transport convenience, the condition of schools, scenic atmosphere, and more. Clearly, Wadhurst excels in all those departments.

The judges also pointed out other features of this town that make it the best place to live. From indulging activities for children to a well-developed community centre. It is an annual list where a team of judges evaluated various locations in the country and base their results on solid parameters.

The List Also Announced 10 Regional Winners

1. East Of England: Saffron Walden, Essex

This is not the first time this market town has made it to the list of best places to live in the UK. It showcases some of the best architecture from the medical times.

2. London: Crouch End

3. Midlands: Leamington Spa, Warwickshire

4. Northern Ireland: Donaghadee, Co Down

An essentially vibrant town, Donaghadee is particularly famous for its lighthouse and harbour.
