By releasing a statement citing operational reasons on Thursday, August 1, the airline as mentioned in Khaleej Times had implemented measures to mitigate the impact on affected passengers. The reason for this was that several SpiceJet flights from Dubai to different destinations in India had been affected by cancellations. As a result, the airline rebooked impacted passengers on an alternative flight and also provided hotel accommodations as required. It’s worth noting that the report also mentions a spokesperson from the airline confirming that all the other scheduled flights from Dubai are now operating as planned.
