Dalgona Candy And Its roots
Dalgona, also knows as ppopgi, is a low-cost Korean street snack made with liquefied sugar. History says it first made an appearance in the 1950s and 1960s just after the Korean War. American delicacies such as ice cream or chocolates were expensive and Dalgona candy was their own way of indulging in something sweet at a lesser price.

Dalgona Candy Only Requires Sugar And Baking Soda?
With Squid Game coming back, it’s almost certain the #DalgonaChallenge is going to come back too. The new season will surely have novel experiences for us, but Dalgona candy is too cute to let go of!
