Starting in early September 2024, Abu Dhabi will offer interest-free marriage loans of up to AED 150,000 to support newly married Emiratis. This initiative, launched by the Abu Dhabi Social Support Authority (SSA), aims to bolster the Emirati Family Growth Programme’s mission of enhancing the quality of life for families and youth.

Eligibility Criteria For Abu Dhabi’s Marriage Loan For Emiratis

1.Age Requirement: The husband must be at least 21 years old, and the wife must be at least 18 years old at the time of marriage.
2. Family Book: The husband must possess a Family Book issued in Abu Dhabi.
3. Employment Income: The husband’s monthly employment income must be less than AED 60,000.
4. Application Submission: The application must be submitted by the husband.
5. Registration Platform: Registration should be completed on the Medeem Digital Platform.

This new financial support is designed to encourage Emirati youth to marry by the UAE’s cultural heritage and wedding traditions. By making marriage more financially accessible, the SSA aims to promote strong, resilient, and cohesive families, thereby contributing to the long-term stability and growth of Emirati society.

2. Register on Medeem Digital Platform: Create an account and log in to the Medeem Digital Platform.
3. Fill Out Application: Complete the application form with accurate details.
4. Submit Application: Ensure the husband applies to the platform.
5. Wait for Approval: After submission, wait for the SSA to review and approve the application.
6. Receive Loan: Once approved, the loan will be disbursed to support your marriage expenses.
