Among Her Bollywood Peers, Navya Naveli Nanda Chose An Unconventional Career Path

Navya hails from one of Bollywood’s most dynamic families, the Bachchan family. She is the granddaughter of Amitabh Bachchan and Jaya Bachchan, Shweta Bachchan’s daughter, and niece of Abhishek Bachchan. Though she comes from an insider family in the Hindi film industry, she did not choose the expected career route. Rather, she began entrepreneurship at a very young age.

In this Stories From Bharat episode, Navya Naveli Nanda visited the Curly Tales headquarters in Mumbai and had a wonderful chat with the team. She explained her views on choosing a new path, talked about maintaining a work-life balance, joining her family business, her business inspirations, her experience of studying abroad, returning home to India, and so much more.

Filled with entrepreneurial spirit, Navya is an all-rounder. From her much-appreciated Project Naveli to having her podcast to establishing her name in the ever-growing entrepreneurial landscape, she is acing and growing in everything she is exploring in her profession. In her 20s, she has already created a great ecosystem for over 25,000 women entrepreneurs and pushed them forward to expand their businesses.

Impact Of Her Projects

While talking about her entrepreneurship projects, she talked about the largest community for women that she has worked on. It consists of around 25,000 women across all age groups running their businesses. Navya and her team’s goal is to exceed the mark of 1 lakh by next year. She aims to work with as many women as possible with her unique projects.
