Khadpe’s used to be a popular food joint in Dadar and in fact two years ago, even the Curly tales team had visited the restaurant to try their authentic fish thalis and we totally loved it. Unfortunately, this year in 2020, the restaurant shuts due to the pandemic & the owner- Pankaj Nerulkar now sells Malvani cuisine in his Nano Car on the streets of Girgaon Chowpatty, Mumbai. While his profits were higher in the restaurant business, his expenses were also huge. Today he makes ₹1 lakh every month by selling authentic homemade Malvani food in his car Nano. It has been a difficult journey for him and he feels that the society just made it worse by making fun of him. But Pankaj stayed determined to rise again.
