Well what if we tell you that researchers are working on a way that can help you lose weight while doing something you love?! Well, the University of Nottingham has published a study on 24th June which suggests that you can burn fat by consuming one cup of coffee every day!
What Is It?
Researchers at the University of Nottingham are working on a way to prove that coffee can help you in losing weight and even curing diabetes. According to the study, there are two types of fat cells in the body- white and brown cells. The brown cells are responsible for burning blood sugar and fat, helping weight loss.

The cells to this as a reaction to cold weather, but according to the study, they also get activated when people drink coffee. This theory was tested first in the lab, and then on volunteers, and the results were surprising.
The test subjects were given a cup of the Nescafe instant coffee or water, and then their reaction was tested via thermal imaging.

What’s More?
The study only included 9 volunteers, and is still at a really early stage. This is the first study, that shows that something like a cup of coffee can have a direct effect on the brown fat cells.
They will further progress to identify the exact component in coffee that stimulates the brown fat cells. It could turn out to be a revolution in weight management regimes as well as a part of glucose regulation program to help prevent diabetes.
