Dubai is known to be a multicultural city, with denizens of different faiths living here. The multicultural acceptance of this city is why many expats call it their home. The city also houses a very beautiful and magnificent Hindu temple known as Jebel Ali Temple. It is a peaceful place of worship for Hindus located in Dubai’s Jebel Ali village. From features to bookings, here’s all you need to know about this temple.

Stunning Hindu Temple In Dubai’s Jebel Ali

The brand-new Hindu temple in Jebel Ali, Dubai, is the ideal mix of Arabic and Indian design. The interior of the main dome is simply breathtaking. The main prayer area boasts a stunning 3D-printed pink lotus. It has beautiful marble pillars embellished with hand-carved elephants. They are seen wearing bells and flowers.

The magnificent white temple has elegant pillars, striking lattice screens, huge brass spires, and beautiful marble decorations. The building of the temple took over three years to complete.

The temple is located in a complex that also has a large number of churches, demonstrating Dubai’s dedication to religious freedom and tolerance.

Along with offering a variety of amenities for worshippers, it is the residence of more than 16 Hindu deities. The three main deities are Lord Shiva, Lord Ayyappan, and Lord Guruvayoorappan. There is also a statue of Guru Granth Sahib in the temple.

Aarti And Special Prayers Are Held Everyday

The hours of operation for the Jebel Ali Hindu Temple in Dubai are from 6:00am to 8:30pm every day of the week. Every day, special prayers and aarti are held at 6:30am and 7:30pm. 

A Tulsi plant has a separate area set aside for mundan and other rituals. The main prayer hall, banquet hall, and multipurpose hall all have capacities of 1500, 750, and 200 people, respectively, at the temple.

There is no longer a necessity to reserve a time slot at the temple through the official website, as there formerly was. However, you can book the banquet hall and multipurpose hall for ceremonies by visiting the official website.

The temple was inaugurated on October 04, 2022.
