Sultan AlNeyadi made headlines when he took off for the International Space Station earlier in March. Ever since his arrival at the ISS on March 3, for a six-month mission, he has constantly been sharing updates from his day-to-day life at the ISS and glimpses of the Earth from space. And recently, he shared images of Dubai and Mecca that have created quite a stir on the internet. Here’s what you need to know about these stunning pictures posted from space

Sultan AlNeyadi recently posted a breathtaking picture of Mecca from space that has gone viral. The first Arab to perform Spacewalk, the beautiful image tweeted from his Twitter account was accompanied by greetings for Arafat Day. The incredible visual certainly left people in awe of one of the holiest sites for Muslims. As you are well aware, Sultan AlNeyadi is currently at the International Space Station where he is staying for six months. He is already halfway through his stay during which he’s been busy with research work.

He Also Shared An Image From The Space

In fact, recently the Arab astronaut also posted a stunning image of Dubai wherein you can see the World Islands (an archipelago), Palm Jumeirah, and Palm Jebel Ali. The awe-inspiring view of the golden shoreline and the azure water makes it a sight to behold. The astronaut has been active on his Twitter account, sharing messages with his followers from the ISS. And recently, he wished everybody on Eid al-Adha from the space! It should be noted that this astronaut has created history by setting multiple milestones, such as becoming the first Arab to stay in space for an extended mission.

With only a few more months before he returns to the Earth, we are certainly keeping up with everything that this beloved astronaut is sharing from space.
