One of the most talented Indian film stars, Suniel Shetty, is a gem of the Bollywood film industry. With numerous performances delivered as an action hero, he was a charmer and still is. We have seen him play different characters, portraying different personalities, on screen many times. To get to know his real personality, we at Curly Tales asked him 25 questions, and it was a fun session. Go and watch it right away!

Suniel Shetty Loves His Mangalorean Roots

It was time to get to know the real Suniel Shetty, and we were absolutely excited. First, we asked him to share everything he loves about Mangalore, and he started by saying that it is the most pious place in the world. Covered by beautiful temples, mosques, and churches, the place is all about harmony, and he loves that. He also loves Mangalorean food, the backwaters, beaches, and farms.

Now that he revealed his love for Mangalorean food, we had to know about his favourite dishes as well. He shared that he loves Kori Roti, Chicken and Roti, Dosa, chutneys, and desserts. He particularly loves that everything is jaggery and coconut-based. Answering one of our questions, he revealed that he used to work at one of his father’s Udupi restaurants as a floor manager and used to handle the kitchen there as well. He was also working as a part-time model at that time and was part of a lot of ramp shows.

He Has A Special Place For Mumbai In His Heart

After his love for all things Mangalorean was established, it was time to delve into his love for Mumbai. He shared that even though he comes from Mangalore, Mumbai has given him the title ‘Anna‘ along with his identity today. Hence, Mumbai has a special place in his heart. Now that it was time for some fun questions, we asked him if he ever did Mumbai Darshan on a double-decker bus or sat at Marine Drive. He said yes to both and shared that he had Bhel Puri and Pani Puri at Marine Drive Chowpatty.
