We often hear about people complaining about discovering inedible objects in food items. Starting from screws to hair to insects, customers often end up finding bizarre things inside their food orders. This time, a man saw a stick stuffed in his burger order. Now, you might wonder what’s wrong with this as cooks usually use sticks in layering patty and veggies and making a juicy burger. Well, it was not in its usual vertical position.

Man Found A Slanted Stick Stuffed In Burger

X user Arpit_futela (@arpit_futela) shared pictures of the food item and complained about Swiggy’s service on the social media platform.

Arpit placed an order for 1 Chicken Cheese Burger (Single Patty) from Uncle Jack’s in Chandigarh. He used the Swiggy app to get this dish delivered to his home. Though each burger cost ₹209, he paid only ₹125 with a discount of ₹130. Swiggy also charged a platform fee of ₹6.

The picture shared by the X user highlights the stick pushed inside the burger horizontally. Sticks are usually inserted vertically passing through all layers of patty, vegetables, sauce, and condiments and keeping the dish tall and sturdy. However, the customer’s concern was the wrong placement of this thin piece of wood. As the stick was present inside the burger in between all the ingredients, there was a risk of anyone unknowingly eating it and choking on it.

Along with the stick, there were two small pieces (that looked a lot like chicken bone) found in the food item too. Arpit shared a separate picture highlighting the stick and those two tiny pieces.

Calling the incident absurd, Arpit asked what would have happened if any kid mistakenly ate the burger without knowing the slanted stick present inside. They would have gotten hurt badly. “Who is responsible,” he further asked.
