There isn’t an Indian household that isn’t familiar with Sanjeev Kapoor’s face. For the longest time, his face dominated every television at home whipping up delicious desi dishes. His name was synonymous with cooking shows. It is safe to say that he’s an authority when it comes to food. Therefore, when he praised the thali of this Lonavala restaurant and called it the best thali in the world, we wanted to try it immediately!

Chandralok Lonavala recently shared a video of Sanjeev Kapoor praising their thali. The video was shared a few hours ago on their Instagram handle. They rightfully captioned it “the only validation we need.”
Honestly, Sanjeev Kapoor praising their food is as good as a Michelin star for them. In the video, Sanjeev Kapoor says that everything in the thali is super delicious whether it’s Dal Baati Churma or Khichdi. He went on to list a few more food items that were served.
In addition to the two dishes previously mentioned, he was served Aamras, Rabdi, Dahi, Jalebi, Khandwi, Veg Puri, Bhakri, Khandwi, and much more! He said that every item on their thali is to die for! We also saw a plate of halwa on his table which looked absolutely mouthwatering!

Honestly, we’re about to pack our stuff and leave for Lonavala just to try the food at this restaurant!
