US Consul Asks For Food Recommendations On His Gujarat Visit
In an Instagram post published yesterday, the Consulate General of the United States of America Mike Hankey will soon visit Gujarat. He plans on utilising this trip optimally and hence, wants to try the best food that Gujarat has to offer.
For that, he took to Instagram and asked his followers to recommend some must-try and unmissable delicacies of Gujarat that he should try on this trip of his. The request was made via the official Instagram account of the US Consulate General, Mumbai.
A picture was posted along with the caption “U.S. Consul General Mike Hankey will travel to Surat and Vadodara soon! Which regional specialities should he try and where should he go to try them?”

Mike Hankey Wants To Try Gujarati Food
Since the Instagram post was published 19 hours ago, the US Consul has received many responses from locals and non-locals alike! The post now has 519 likes and numerous responses, each one urging him to try their favourite spots.
One Netizen recommended Ghari from Shah Jamnadas Ghariwala. Another person recommended Tasty Vada Pav, Mahakali Sev Usal, Jagdish Farsan, and Sasuma Thali.
Rest assured, Mike Hankey will surely have the time of his life trying new Gujarati food items on his trip! We hope he loves Gujarati food as much as we do!
