For the first time, former South African cricketer, AB de Villiers, was on an episode of Curly Tales’s Sunday Brunch in Mumbai! He met Mashable India’s Siddhaarth Aalambayan to converse about his time in India, cricket days, and more while relishing appetising food at The Sassy Spoon. We learned he is a massive foodie and loves to enjoy various cuisines; read on to know more.
What Are AB de Villiers’s Favourite Food Items?
It is a common misconception that non-Indians can’t handle too much spicy food. They avoid flavourful masalas as their stomach might not handle them well. Cricketer AB is here to break this misunderstanding as he loves spicy food and can handle it all too well! During the interview, Siddhaarth urged him to try Mumbai’s iconic street snack, vada pav.
This recommendation was followed by a warning that it might be too spicy as the red chutney adds a kick to this dish. de Villiers assured us that he has a good spice tolerance and it mustn’t be a hassle for him. Seems like the cricketer loves spicy food.
Along with that, he is also a foodie who is fond of trying diverse cuisines and enjoys the robust flavours. He mentioned that he was privileged enough to relish multiple cuisines as he travelled the world due to his work. All in all, he loves to eat food and try different cuisines!
