Vidya Balan is such a bubbly person that she lights up any room she is in. She has a pure hearty laughter that explodes with joy. On this Sunday Brunch episode, our Editor-in-Chief, Kamiya Jani caught up with Vidya Balan as she was promoting her new film, Neeyat, which launched on the big screens on July 7. We spoke to her about many things including her debut photoshoot, coming back to the big screen for film releases after the pandemic years, her travel trip to Japan and its memories, and more. Vidya Balan’s Favourite Domestic And International Travel Places
Vidya Balan happily told us that she loves to travel. We wanted to know which place is her favourite in and out of India. Vidya replied that Himachal Pradesh is a very beautiful place to be in.
She also quickly mentioned that Kerala is her home and it is tough to choose between the two. She finally went with Himachal Pradesh. Outside of India, she loves Japan and how it functions in such a systematic manner.

She couldn’t stop talking about Japan and how great it is! She found it exceptionally clean and said that the citizens always keep their country clean and tidy.
She Loves To Indulge In Yummy Street Food
Since it was a Sunday Brunch video and we caught up with Vidya in the cinema halls, we had to order her favourites. Some delicious theatre food items like warm caramel popcorn, sushi, burgers, and more were ordered. She loves Mumbai’s street food like nothing else!
She loves to eat batata puri, ragda pattice, bhelpuri, samosa pav, sev puri and vada pav. She is a foodie and doesn’t hide the fact that she loves to eat. All of the street food she mentioned is very oily, yet she says they are worth it.
When discussing theatre food, she also told us that she enjoys the caramel makhana sold at cinema halls. She said that she prefers to have caramel makhana instead of caramel popcorn. She just can’t stop going for them as they taste very good.
