THESE Films Made Vedang & Sharvari Want To Be Part Of An Imtiaz Ali Film

Curly Tales recently stepped into ‘Window Seat’, the office of filmmaker Imtiaz Ali, for a fun Sunday Brunch episode. Our Editor-in-Chief, Kamiya Jani, not just met the star filmmaker but also Vedang Raina and Sharvari, the cast of his upcoming movie, Main Vaapas Aaunga. This segment was fun, deep and featured lots of Punjabi food.

Sunday Brunch With Imtiaz Ali, Vedang Raina & Sharvari 

Imtiaz Ali’s office, ‘Window Seat’, is unlike any office you might have seen. It has that rustic and old-world charm vibe, which pulls you in instantly. On this Sunday Brunch episode, filmmaker Imtiaz Ali opened up about many things, including how he loves travelling and the jobs he did before entering the world of movies. 

Vedang Raina and Sharvari also joined this Sunday Brunch episode, and they even opened up about their past projects before finally being cast by Imtiaz Ali. On being asked if there was any particular movie which made them want to be a part of an Imtiaz Ali film, Vedang said, “I think Rockstar really cemented that for me because I had musical aspirations also. As a teenager, that movie excited me.”

The Star Filmmaker Loves Travelling

Sharvari had an interesting answer to this question, too. She said, “It was Jab We Met for me, but at that time I thought of being an actor.” She also shared that she was quite inspired by Geet’s harem pants in the movie. Sharvari added that the film really fascinated her.

Since we all know how travel is an important part of Imtiaz Ali’s movies, the filmmaker agrees too. He opened up to Kamiya Jani and shared that he loves travelling and loved it even before becoming a filmmaker. According to him, it is an accessible way of entertaining oneself. And honestly, we agree. The conversations continued over a hearty spread of gol gappe, chole kulche, phirni, gulab jamun and some fun games with Imtiaz Ali, Vedang Raina, and Sharvari.
