These NYC Luxury Hotels To Give Free Helicopter Airport Transfers But You Will Have To…

Six NYC hotels have begun offering an extraordinary perk for their guests: complimentary helicopter transfers from the airport to the city. This service not only enhances the luxury experience but also significantly reduces travel time. Isn’t it a swift and stylish entry into one of the world’s most bustling metropolises?

Free NYC Helicopter Transfers

Due to the prolonged postponement of New York’s congestion pricing plan, traffic entering Manhattan is expected to be congested as usual this summer. However, guests staying at some of the best luxury hotels in the city may completely bypass the freeways.

The Marriott International Luxury Group announced on Tuesday that from July 1 to September 2, free helicopter transfers will be offered from John F. Kennedy International Airport and Newark Liberty International Airport. According to the hospitality group, the transfers can cut the time it takes to get from the airport to Manhattan down to as little as five minutes.

Visitors who are spending a minimum of two nights at any of the six Manhattan hotels can take advantage of the flights, which are run by the urban air mobility business Blade:

  • The St. Regis New York
  • JW Marriott Essex House New York
  • W New York – Union Square
  • The New York EDITION
  • The Ritz-Carlton New York, NoMad
  • The Luxury Collection Hotel Manhattan Midtown

A vehicle service will take guests to their hotels from the Blade Lounge East on East 34th Street or the more recent Blade Lounge West on West 30th Street, where helicopter transfers land.

Entry-level accommodations cannot qualify for this benefit. Instead, visitors must reserve a certain kind of suite at those establishments. Suites at Marriott’s five-star luxury hotels won’t come cheap with hotel room rates in New York at record highs. However, there is still hope for guests who are staying in rooms at any of the six hotels mentioned, as opposed to suites. You can avail of Blade’s services at discounts.

The introduction of complimentary helicopter transfers by these six prestigious hotels represents a significant innovation in the NYC hospitality industry. This service caters to a growing demand for efficiency and exclusivity, appealing particularly to high-net-worth individuals and business travellers. The introduction of complimentary helicopter airport transfers marks a new era in luxury hospitality in New York City.
