2.  Get Your Adrenaline Rushing At the World’s Longest Tunnel In Himachal Pradesh

In our bucket list of things to watch out for in 2020, the world’s longest mountain tunnel is definitely there. And no, you don’t have to step out of India to witness this marvel. The 3000 meters tunnel will be built in our very own India. The history behind building this tunnel is an interesting one. In 2019, India celebrated renowned former Prime Minister Atal Bihari Vajpayee’s 95th birth anniversary by completing a task assigned by him. Atal Rohtang, the strategic tunnel, under the iconic Rohtang pass will be set up to reduce the distance between Manali and Leh by 46km.  The best part is, the Atal Tunnel under the Rohtang Pass will be the world’s longest mountain tunnel spanning 8.8 km on its completion this year. This tunnel will not only increase connectivity to the region but will also boost tourism.
