56-year-old Mini Augustine is a force to reckon with. Born in Kerala, brought up in Coimbatore, Mini Augustine is a passionate biker who completed an 18-day trip from Delhi to Leh, in a bullet covering 2400 km. Often the oldest in biking groups, and ridiculed for riding a bike, Mini let nothing come in between her passion. She has been travelling solo all across India on her bike. Here’s her endearing story.

Mini Augustine’s Passion For Biking Knows No Bounds

Mini Augustine’s life choices were shaped by being around her brother and neighbours, who were also boys. From a young age, Mini started riding a scooter, for which she was ridiculed. Nevertheless, she absolutely loved her independence. Every time anyone ridiculed her for riding a scooter as she was a girl, she worked double hard to prove them wrong. Mini’s husband, Biju Paul always supported her endeavours. And even taught her to ride a Royal Enfield Bullet 350. And that was the start of a whole new world.
