Earlier in 2021, Masque secured a place in Asia’s 50 Best Restaurants list at number 32. Masque is the only restaurant in India to make it to the list apart from New Delhi’s Indian Accent. This ingredient-driven restaurant has collaborated with top chefs such as Trevor Moran, Matthew Orlando ) and several others from across the globe over the years. That said, when Masque opened its doors to Mumbai diners five years back, not many understood what it was trying to do.
Masque Is Taking Native Flavours Outside Mumbai
Fast forward to 2021 and Masque is celebrating its 5th landmark. The team is hosting a pop-up with signature ten-course tasting menus throughout the country including Delhi, Bengaluru, Chennai, Kolkata and Leh. Masque is taking its native flavours, ethnicities, originality, and skill outside Mumbai for its fifth anniversary and Delhi is its first stop. The team at The Manor is setting this up and they sold out the three nights within two days. The team is hoping to give a taste of what the Masque experience is all about in every city they travel to. The tour begins on 29 July as a three-night pop-up.
