The mushrooms used here are not some button mushrooms. They import these mushrooms from the Northern state of Kashmir. It’s termed Gucchi. There’s a little mystery story attached to this special breed of mushrooms. They say that these mushrooms only grow when there is a thunderstorm.

Every meal, whether it’s the Amritsari soft shell crab or the lamb preparation presented in Nihari sauce, gives you a flavour of Indian local culture. Don’t miss the togarashi paniyaram, onion ash paneer paturi. A simple homey khichdi made with traditional ingredients from 20 Indian states is a savoury joy.
