Ankur Aggarwal Had Humble Beginnings In Delhi
Ankur Aggarwal had a humble start in Delhi, India. During his interview with our Editor-in-Chief Kamiya Jani, he shared how he has become a big developer in Dubai. Raised by a single mother, Ankur Agarwal’s journey is not just a story of success, but one of incredible resilience. His company defines premium real estate in Dubai and the company is valued at a staggering AED13 billion. The CEO and Founder of BNW Developments moved to Dubai four and a half years ago.
Ankur Aggarwal Started In Dubai From Scratch
He shared how it was difficult for him to achieve little things in life as finances were a big constraint. He never wanted to work a job since he was a kid and has always been focused towards starting his own business. A chartered accountant, he started tutoring children for money when he was a child, to support his CA education. His journey began with an internship at his brother’s CA firm. After this, he started his own practice and opened his own office, and since then he has never looked back!
However, his foray into real estate was nothing short of a chance! Yes, he mentions how he wanted to do something outside of the country and that’s how he ended up here in Dubai. He wanted to do something big in Dubai, which fuelled his practice of starting a brokerage firm with a friend. However, after four months, he started from square one wherein he started the BNW Developments.

“Gave 10 Interviews For Hiring First Employee”
Although he has about 400 employees in his firm now, hiring the first employee was not an easy task. He ended up giving 10 interviews in order to hire the first employee for his company! Thereafter, the business started to do really well servicing clients, not just from Russia but from America, England, and even China. As the firm started to do better, Ankur Agarwal decided to soar higher by leaving the role of broker behind and setting his sights on becoming a developer. With the aim of breaking bad years, he started his Project Management Consultancy from the pool of money he had earned at that time.
Buying Land In Al Marjan Island Of Ras Al Khaimah
In just a matter of two years, BNW Developments had grown tremendously. He had taken a leap of faith and invested in a land in the Al Marjan Island of Ras Al Khaimah. And over a period of time, the value of this land was through the sky with incredible returns.
During the interview, Kamiya Jani was also taken to the office where she got a glimpse of the residential building that is coming up in Ras Al Khaimah by the BNW Developments. The incredible facade of the building as shown in the model, looks absolutely jaw-dropping. Called Aqua Arc, it features 228 apartments with some even having plunge pools. Complete with a kids’ play area and penthouses as well, it is expected to be ready by June 2027.
