This Good Samaritan Bought Food For An Elderly Couple From A Village Flying For The First Time, Proves Humanity Exists

A kind gesture goes a long way. And in a world obsessed with smartphones, seldom do we look away from our phones and notice the plight of our fellow beings. A good samaritan in Delhi airport not only noticed a helpless elderly couple flying for the first time. But also, decided to make their first flight journey, a very special one. Here’s all about it.

Elderly Couple Travelled 8 Hours From Remote Village To Reach Delhi Airport

Amitabh Shah, a LinkedIn user, took to the platform to share his heartwarming user. In Kanpur airport, he came across a clueless elderly couple who were flying for the first time in their lives. In his LinkedIn post, he revealed that the couple rode a bus for 8 hours from their remote village in Uttar Pradesh to reach Delhi airport. They were then going to board a flight to Kanpur.

In his post, he stated that the elderly couple stood clueless in the airport and clearly couldn’t understand English. So, Shah walked up to them and asked them to follow him. They were relieved to have someone guide them and even mistook Saha to be an airport official. The elderly couple sat in front of Shah on the flight.

Good Samaritan Buys Them Meal On Flight 

He revealed that the aunty asked him to click a picture of them to send it to their daughter on WhatsApp. They wanted to convey to her that they were safe. The good samaritan happily obliged and clicked a picture of them. Later when the air hostess arrived with food, the elderly couple declined.

Abhijeet Shah noticed they were hungry. So, he bought them paneer sandwiches and juices. But he told the air hostess to inform them that the food was complimentary. On landing at Kanpur Airport, the elderly couple smiled at Shah and they went their own ways. The good samaritan ended his post by telling his followers that we should always be kind at every opportunity we get.
