Aslam Chicken Corner is an iconic haunt for all foodies in Old Delhi. The shop has a seating of 3 floors and even has a rooftop terrace with stunning views of the Jama Masjid. It is known for selling the butteriest piping hot chicken tikkas that will leave you wanting for more.

What’s In It?

You’ll spot the shop with skewers out and grilling marinated chicken chunks. Drown yourself in 500gm of butter and gorge on this super rich and creamy chicken delicacy which has created a buzz amongst major celebrities as well.

The Butter Chicken here comes in half plate/quarter plate/full plate. Half a plate of Butter chicken will cost you ₹220, it includes hot chicken tikkas smeared with butter and rolled in yogurt. The chicken is first marinated slowly on a large pan and cut into pieces.

These chunks are then roasted slowly on the charcoal grill until its cooked. The masala is added to the succulent chicken pieces and dipped in butter. Aslam uses 20 kinds of masala which are combined into a paste form. The ingredients are a secret kept by Aslam, since the year 1998 when they first started.

It was started by Muhammad Aslam Khan, younger brother of Muhammad Sultan Khan.
