Randeep Hooda is a talented actor who has won many hearts. We were delighted to have him on Curly Tales once again. On this episode of Tere Gully Mein, Randeep Hooda met with our anchor, Arohi Thatte in Juhu, Mumbai. We spoke about his life in Mumbai and how much he liked the city. Randeep Hooda Loves Versova Very Much
If you have been following Randeep Hooda for a while now, then you are aware of the fact that he loves Mumbai’s Versova Beach the most. He used to regularly go to the beach and now he lives there! Randeep has even taken the initiative to clean Versova Beach. He is setting an example of how you take care of a place when you love it. We appreciate that, a lot.
Arohi questioned him about his likeness towards the Versova Beach and he told us that he liked the quietness this beach holds. Although it is getting popular and crowded nowadays. He said that Versova Beach is still very green and has cute little spaces which are beautiful. He also likes the fact that there are grocery stores nearby which is quite important. When you are living alone, you have to depend on your nearby grocery stores which made it easier for Randeep Hooda.

Do You Know About The History Of Versova? He Certainly Does!
While we were gorging on yummy Amritsari Chhole Kulche and were on the topic of Versova Beach, Arohi asked Randeep Hooda if he knew about its history. We were quite astonished to learn that he did! He started by saying that the British conquered it. This part is correct. The next information that he shared with us left us surprised.
He shared that the Versova Fort was actually named Vesave and this word in Marathi means to rest. To which Arohi replied, “How do you know all this, damn!” We had the same reaction, Arohi. Randeep Hooda continued that there is a Vesave Fort where a lot of treasure was brought in. Arohi funnily asked him if he found any such treasure while roaming around on the beach. He replied, “Pata nahi, mila hoga toh batayega kaun.” (Don’t know, no one would admit it even if they found some.)
He quickly also recalled that during his childhood days, the films would showcase scenes at Versova Beach. He imitated holding up a phone near his ear, deepened his voice and said, “Sona Versova Beach par utar raha hai.” This made both of them laugh. Randeep also said that he didn’t know he would end up staying in the same place that he saw in the films. What a wholesome full circle moment for him!
