An Initiative By The Club
The Cosmopolitan Club Corpus Fund Trust, the Club’s social arm, created the project Come Let’s Have Lunch Together. The Trust was established in 2010, as opposed to the Club, which was founded in 1969. Since then, the Trust has supported the Club staff’s education, marriage, and medical care for those in need.
ANK Raju, the president of the Club, one of the founding trustees, and secretary of the Trust, proposed the idea for the free lunch programme. The Trust’s president and chairman, Ramalinga Reddy and NH Sharief, endorse it.
The Cosmopolitan Club is one of the social clubs in Bangalore. One of its sections houses restaurants, bars, guest rooms, party halls and conference rooms. Another one has a card hall, home theatre, administrative office, parking area and so on.
Apart from this social club, Golden Temple in Amritsar offers free food to everyone. There you can enjoy lip-smacking food prepared in their jumbo kitchen. The second place is Shirdi’s Sri Sai Sansthan Prasadalaya. They serve nearly 40,000 people daily and distribute breakfast packets, too!
