United Airlines is a major American airline that provides connectivity to several international and domestic destinations. It also has a Delhi-Newark route that connects India and the United States. For United Airlines, Delhi-Newark is the only route that connects the US to India. The authorities are going to double daily flights this winter. In a statement, the airline stated that during the winter of 2023–2024, United Airlines will double the number of flights between Delhi and New York/Newark, from once to twice per day. The new route will likewise be run year-round using Boeing 787-9 Dreamliners, just like the current service.

According to Harvinder Singh, United director of Middle East and India, India has been a vital component of United’s worldwide network for almost 20 years. And they are happy to announce the addition of this new daily flight from New Delhi, operated by 787 Dreamliner aircraft.

With the ability to connect easily via their New York/Newark hub to more than 70 locations around the Americas, this expansion of service will give their cherished clients in India even more travel options and flexibility.

Airline’s First Seasonal Improvement

This is the airline’s first seasonal improvement! Previously, it had discontinued several India-related routes, including Mumbai-Newark and Delhi-Chicago and San Francisco. According to an ACCESSWIRE report, United Airlines became the first US airline to add Braille to aircraft interiors. This will help thousands of travellers to navigate the cabin.

While American Airlines, another major airline in the USA, operates a daily flight between Delhi and New York JFK, Delta Air Lines has yet to resume operations in India beyond March 2020. The majority of non-stop flights between India and the US are operated by Air India.
