WhatsApp is undoubtedly one of the most popular messaging apps used all over the world. And soon this platform, which is owned by Meta might allow users to edit their message after they have already sent it. Confused? Well, going by the recent announcement made by Mark Zuckerberg, the Chief Executive of Meta, this feature will be available to WhatsApp users around the world in the following weeks.

However, there is a catch in this fantastic new update! Users will be allowed to edit the messages, but it must be done within 15 minutes of sending the message. So, if you have sent a message that you wish was better phrased, make sure you do it before your 15 minutes are up! It’s worth mentioning that once this new feature is released, all you will have to do is press on the message and select edit to change whatever it is that you wish to change in the message sent.

Thereafter, these messages can only be opened with a password, facial recognition, or fingerprint. Using this function will also be pretty easy, as all the user will have to do is tap on the name of a person or the group chat, and then select the chat lock option.
