Highway To Remain Closed For Several Hours

The highway is expected to remain closed for several hours. It will reopen only after cleanup operations are completed. As per a report by Metro.co.uk, the situation worsened when vehicles began colliding one after another. Some drivers veered off the road in an attempt to avoid the crash. Many motorists were left stranded and were advised to stay inside their vehicles until help arrived.

Heavy snowfall caused a domino effect and reduced visibility. This made it difficult for drivers to navigate the highway, leading to the massive pile-up. Michigan State Police have now urged people to stay off the roads. Authorities have also advised drivers to take extra precautions amid severe weather conditions.
