Air India recently took to its official X account to issue a travel advisory. With winter setting in, smog and fog are disrupting daily life as well as air travel. Visibility has reduced significantly in Delhi and parts of northern and eastern India. The airline said it is taking proactive steps to minimise disruptions. In case of unexpected delays, diversions, or cancellations, Air India stated that ground staff will be available to assist passengers with alternative arrangements.
Along with the advisory, Air India also talked about its ‘Fog Care’ initiative. This special service supports passengers booked on flights that are likely to be impacted by fog. Travellers receive advance alerts on their registered mobile numbers. This helps them plan their commute to the airport accordingly instead of getting anxious.
