The Karnataka government imposed a strict lockdown in Bengaluru Rural, Bengaluru Urban, Dakshina Kannada, Dharwad Kalaburagi, and Raichur. In this strict lockdown, food delivery services and other essential services continue to remain open. However, people returning to Bengaluru via flights need to keep certain things in mind. This includes registration on the Seva Sindhu website of Karnataka government and undergoing compulsory 14-day quarantine. Apart from these, here are some guidelines that you need to follow when travelling to Bengaluru.
Guidelines For Passengers Returning To Bengaluru via Domestic Flights
- All international commercial flights to and face suspension till July 31, 2020. But the restriction isn’t applicable to international cargo operations approved by the Directorate General of Civil Aviation (DGCA).
- Passengers returning from all Indian states including Maharashtra must undergo mandatory 14-day home quarantine according to the Karnataka government order dated July 6, 2020.
- Travellers arriving at Bengaluru airport must register on the Seva Sindhu portal of Karnataka of Government, before boarding. On failure to fo so or on the provision of wrong information, the passengers will face penalisation as per 51(b) of The Disaster Management Act 2005 and section 188 of the Indian Penal Code.
- If passengers are found symptomatic, then they will be taken to a designated COVID-19 hospital for further examination from the airport. If tested negative after the reports then passengers must undergo home quarantine for 14 days.
- Taxis will remain available at the Bengaluru airport. They will be sanitised and drivers will be screened after every trip.
- Transit passengers won’t face any quarantine as long as they don’t leave the airport.

Guidelines For Business Travellers Visiting Bengaluru
Business travellers returning within 48 hours of arrival must keep these things in mind:
- Mandatory to have a valid return ticket
- Must provide all the details of the person intended to visit during your stay in Karnataka
- Such business travellers won’t face quarantine and hand stamping
Business travellers returning within 7 days of arrival must follow these guidelines
- Compulsory to have a valid return ticket

- Passengers must undergo a paid COVID-19 test on arrival at the Bengaluru airport
- Must undergo institutional quarantine for 48 hours until the results arrive
- To avoid quarantine and the coronavirus test, business travellers must show their ICMR approved Coronavirus negative test reports. These reports must not be more than 48 hours old
