1. ADAFSA Announces Closure Of A Restaurant

The Abu Dhabi Agriculture and Food Safety Authority recently ordered the administrative closure of Power Afgan Bakery and Restaurant. This closure has been ordered due to the violation of Law No. (2) of 2008 on food safety in the Emirate. Located in Abu Dhabi Industrial City (ICAD 1), the closure has been ordered due to serious food safety violations.
2. Tazizi Announces Its Expansion
Tazizi recently announced that it would be expanding across Dubai. Moreover, they also have plans to launch in Abu Dhabi by the end of 2026. Soon after, by early 2027, the plan is to expand to the Saudi Arabian market. For those wondering, this is an innovative workplace food solutions provider. It delivers fresh, chef-prepared meals and healthy snacks directly to the workplaces.
3. Oman Air Resumes Services To Amman & Dammam
Oman Air is pleased to confirm the resumption of services to #Amman (AMM) and #Dammam (DMM), effective 1 April 2026.
Guests can choose from up to four flights per week to Amman and daily flights to Dammam.

Oman Air recently announced on X that it would be resuming services to Amman and Dammam. This would be effective April 1st, 2026. It should be noted that guests can choose from up to four flights per week to Amman and daily flights to Dammam. So, if you need to book tickets, you can book them online through the website and or their mobile app.

4. Several Wilayat’s In Oman Receive Intense Rainfall
Several wilayats across the Sultanate of Oman have been receiving varying intensities of rainfall on Wednesday. This has led to the flow of wadis and streams in several areas. For instance, Jabal Akhdar received heavy rainfall, which was accompanied by strong winds and hailstones. Similar weather conditions have been experienced in the region.
5. Atlantis Dubai Renews Global Accreditation
Atlantis Dubai has renewed its accreditation from the Association of Zoos and Aquariums. It reaffirms a continued commitment to world-class standards. As revealed in a report of Gulf News, this was initially awarded in March 2020. Not to mention, the destination remains the region’s first and longest-standing AZA-accredited facility.
