“Felt Part Of Me Heal”: Vikas Khanna Gets Jalebi-Shaped Rakhi Tied By Radhika Merchant

Vikas Khanna knows how to celebrate Indian traditions abroad at his famous Bungalow restaurant in New York. As Raksha Bandhan approaches, the celebrity chef decorated the restaurant for the special occasion and to welcome the Ambani family. During their visit, Radhika Merchant also shared a heartwarming moment with Vikas Khanna. Read on to know more! 

Radhika Merchant Ties Rakhi To Vikas Khanna

Chef Vikas Khanna took to social media to share glimpses of the decorations at Bungalow for Raksha Bandhan. As part of the decoration, he also paid a special tribute to Vantara while appreciating Anant Ambani and his work. Radhika Merchant and several members of the Ambani family visited the restaurant, and in the caption, the chef shared how much he cherishes his bond with Radhika and wrote, “Felt a part of me heal.”

During the visit, Vikas Khanna and Radhika Merchant shared an emotional Raksha Bandhan moment as she tied a Rakhi on his wrist. But there was a twist! It was not a usual Rakhi but a jalebi-shaped one, perfectly representing Vikas Khanna’s love for food.

Inside Decoration At The Bungalow

As always, Vikas Khanna was personally involved in decorating his Bungalow restaurant along with his staff members. In the video, he can be seen cleaning the glass roof and creating a beautiful flower rangoli. The rangoli featured the word “Vantara”,  Anant Ambani’s animal welfare project. With colourful flowers all around, the restaurant looked absolutely gorgeous.

From the indoor to the outdoor spaces, every corner of the restaurant was decorated with colourful flowers. Visitors could spot flowers floating in water, placed in front of idols, decorating the walls and much more. In the video, Vikas Khanna also shared how many customers who visit the restaurant tie a Rakhi on his wrist, a gesture that he genuinely appreciates.
