Influencer Speaks Like SRK In Kal Ho Naa Ho To Convince Indian Eatery To Serve Spicy Food

Shah Rukh Khan

There’s always curiosity about whether foreigners can handle Indian-level spice in their food. Many people believe that India’s spice tolerance is on another level and not easy for everyone to manage. Recently, a video went viral where an influencer hilariously used a Shah Rukh Khan dialogue to convince a restaurant that he could handle extremely spicy food. Scroll down for more details.

Influencer Mimics Shah Rukh Khan Dialogue For Spice Approval

Digital creator and musician Pranay Chaturvedi (@pranaychat), who is of Indian origin and lives in the US, recently posted a funny video showing what it’s like for an American to order food from an Indian restaurant. In the clip, he greets the restaurant with a simple “Hello,” and the person on the other end answers, “Bangalore Bazooka, can I take your order?” He then orders Mutter Paneer to go and requests that the spice level be made extremely spicy — “Indian hot.”

In a humorous twist, the Indian restaurant wasn’t convinced by his claim and started grilling him with questions. When they asked for his favourite Indian song and he replied “Tunak Tunak,” the restaurant said, “Mild.” Then they asked for his favourite Indian movie, and when he answered “Slumdog Millionaire,” the person responded, “Extremely mild for you.”

To convince them to make his food spicy, he finally mimicked Shah Rukh Khan’s dialogue and style from Kal Ho Nah Ho, saying in Hindi, “I love spicy food. I love it very, very much, sir. When I close my eyes, I see spicy food. When I open my eyes, I want to see spicy food. Call it love, madness, or my heartbeat — I’ll love spicy food for the rest of my life, till my last breath and even after that.” Only then did the restaurant agree and say, “Extremely spicy food for you, sir — with Aadhaar card.”
