Now, he is making headlines for carrying a taxidermy raccoon back home. So, why is the internet going crazy over this raccoon?

Erling Haaland Brings Home A Raccoon

Erling Haaland left his fans confused when he recently uploaded a picture of himself after getting off the plane with a raccoon in his hand. He wrote, “It followed me home,” and asked his fans to help him name his new buddy. The options were Cowboy, Ranger, TEX, and R.O.W., short for Raccoon On Wheels.

According to People, the football star is back in Norway after his team lost to England in the quarter-finals of the 2026 FIFA World Cup. The stuffed raccoon in his hand, holding a whiskey bottle, is apparently a taxidermied raccoon that he bought for $750 (₹72,091 approx.). It is called the Whiskey Raccoon, and Erling Haaland apparently bought it from Wild Bill’s Western Store in Dallas, Texas. The taxidermied raccoon is now unavailable at the store as it quickly sold out.

He wrote, “It’s been quite a row, thank you for making it so special.” Erling also shared pictures of the Norway team on the field.
