“Universe Was Listening,” Woman Manifested Meeting Vikas Khanna; Chef Invites Her To Bungalow

Manifestation has great power. It is believed that the things you truly wish for from your heart eventually come true. This is what happened with a chef from California who manifested meeting her favourite chef, Vikas Khanna. Her dream came true when the Michelin-starred chef invited her to his New York restaurant, Bungalow.

Chef Bhawna’s Dream Of Meeting Vikas Khanna Finally Came True

Chef Bhawna, who goes by the Instagram username @mountain_morsel, recently shared a sweet story of meeting her favourite chef, Vikas Khanna. During a podcast with The Dimpled Way a few months ago, she shared that she really wanted to meet the Michelin-starred chef at his New York restaurant, Bungalow, and enjoy a Himachali feast there. Responding to her wish, Vikas Khanna lit a candle for her at the restaurant and told her that he would be waiting for her.

Fast forward a few months, Chef Bhawna uploaded a video of herself meeting Vikas Khanna at Bungalow. The video shows Bhawna making Vikas wear a Himachali cap and gifting him a Kinnauri shawl, which symbolise the culture, craftsmanship, warmth, and love of Himachal Pradesh.

Universe Was Listening To Her Wish

Chef Bhawna recalled in her Instagram post that she had no idea the “Universe was listening.” She also expressed that she did not just want to meet Vikas Khanna for a photograph, but to thank him for making her believe that Indian regional cuisine deserves a place on the global stage.

She also recalled that Vikas Khanna warmly invited her to Bungalow after learning about her wish. According to her, it felt like the universe whispering, “Keep believing, your dreams are listening.” Upon meeting him, Chef Bhawna honoured him with gifts and thanked him for his kindness, humility, and for taking the time to listen to her journey. She also wrote, “As someone who has dedicated herself to preserving and sharing Himachali cuisine in America, this moment wasn’t just mine. It belonged to every person who believes our mountains, our food, our traditions, and our artisans deserve to be celebrated across the world.”

Chef Bhawna’s story is proof that dreams do come true. Many of her followers congratulated her and expressed how happy they were for her.
